Reflection

I recently read an article about two very creative and talented people who bonded over a shared love for a book. I don't recall which book, and I won't mention the two people. They are very much in the public eye, and were recently married. They were in the public eye most of their lives. While individually they were able to manage stardom, I fear that, together, their story, romanticized, scrutinized, and televised, will be the downfall of what was great in the first place. 

I will not let that happen. If there is an "us," it should be known that you will not profit from it. You will not glorify us, only to vilify us sometime after. That's, sadly, the type of society that we live in; so lost, so greedy, so selfish, that building things up only to tear them down later is all that they have. Ironically, the methods and systems I have developed might help detect the void in people's lives, enabling them to grow.
